“Mark and Craig trace their roots back to Maryland, where they grew up in the neighborhood of Longfellow in Baltimore. They both attended the University of South Carolina and spent a memorable spring break trip in Napa Valley that sparked their initial interest in wine. After going their separate ways for graduate school, Mark and Craig both ended up in Northern California and in close proximity to wine country. They spent countless weekends visiting local wineries and learning about California wines and finally decided to start a winery of their own. Longfellow Wine Company, was born in 2000. Their inaugural vintage was crafted the following year.”
